Safe Environment Committee

  • The Santa Clara Safe Environment Committee has two important tasks:  

    1. To ensure parish, elementary school, and chapel compliance with Archdiocesan guidelines and mandates for fingerprinting, instruction, and oversight for all parish programs involving the protection of minors.  The committee monitors SCES school, religious education, choir, youth ministry, and any other program at the parish level involving children and minors under the age of 18 years old.

    2. To help the pastor and staff discern ways to improve the OVERALL physical safety of Santa Clara Church, Chapel and School by suggesting building and operational improvements that will serve to better protect ALL parishioners and visitors to our parish and chapel campus from natural disasters, civil violence and criminal predatory behavior.
