Tuesday Silent Day of Recollection

Our Retreat House at the Santa Clara Parish is open for silent, self-directed, half-day or full-day retreats on most Tuesdays during the year. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS DAY BY CALLING TO RESERVE A SPOT. (805) 330-8260. Mass is offered mid-day at 12:15 p.m. and Eucharistic Adoration is offered in both the morning and afternoon. Confession is available upon request and you have access to books in the Library, or bring your own good spiritual book you've been wanting to make time to dig into. Silence throughout the house serves prayer, meditation and reading. The Retreat House is located at 529 W. 4th St., Oxnard, on the same block as the Santa Clara Elementary School. Retreatants may bring food if desired and may use the kitchen refrigerator. Please label your bag. No cooking is allowed, but a microwave is available to warm things. Coffee & Tea will be provided. Upon arrival each retreatant must sign in and provide an emergency contact person and phone number. There is no use fee required. But, as the Retreat House seeks to be self-supporting, a free-will offering is gladly accepted to support our operations. God reward you!
